Sinopsis
Tahun 1939 adalah tahun dimana Neuroi muncul. Tak ada
yang tahu dari mana mereka berasal dan apa tujuan mereka, tapi yang jelas
serangan mereka telah memaksa penduduk meninggalkan kota tempat mereka tinggal.
Demi melawan mereka, umat manusia mengembangkan senjata baru anti-Neuroi yang
disebut "Striker Unit". Dengan memanfaatkan kekuatan magic, perangkat
yang dikembangkan ini dapat meningkatkan kekuatan dari para perempuan
magic-wielders. Untuk dapat menggunakan perangkat ini, para penyihir muda dari
seluruh dunia dikumpulkan untuk membentuk sebuah unit elit satuan tugas yang
disebut 501 Joint Fighter Wing atau yang dikenal sebagai "Strike
Witches".
